After spending the last 14 years (on and off) touring with Johnny Lee's Grammy Award winning Urban Cowboy Band, Rusty has taken a permanently temporary hiatus from music! Hard to believe
-- but the dream of being a WWE wrestling superstar only comes once in a lifetime!
Rusty has joined the ranks of other musician/wrestler sensations such
as R-Truth, Jillian, and John Cena. The Moore, Oklahoma native has enjoyed playing a major role in the OKC music scene for many years but is currently focused on projects that keep him traveling the country and meeting new people in music and entertainment. He will be the first to explain though that sharing the stage with "the original Urban Cowboy" is one of the major highlights of his colorful career. "You gotta admit -- getting to play the guitar line to 'Lookin for Love' as JL leaves the stage every night is just cool...period..........well, that and facing Eve Torres to earn a place in the Power 25...that's gonna be really cool too...probably." Long-time crowd favorites such as "The Weatherman" and "Girls of Yesterday" still echo in the clubs around Oklahoma, and while concentrating on his WWE superstar duties and busy schedule, Rusty continues to write politically inspired ballads, for we all know music can change the world. Check the TOUR page for show dates and other news! (Please keep in mind that Rusty will be old enough to run for President in 2012. Just sayin.) |
